More than 20,000 delegates gathered in Cannes in early March for the 35th MIPIM real estate fair. At the event, development opportunities and optimisations were explored, local authorities showcased their sustainable urban projects, and the leaders of the sector discussed the resurgence of the market in the face of changing global trends. Poland played more than a small part in these conversations
This year, MIPIM was held between March 11th and 14th. The event in the French city of Cannes is one of the most important in the real estate calendar, bringing together developers, investors, architects and market experts from across the world. As always, the event provided an opportunity to share experiences, present the latest projects, and discuss the future of the real estate market. Against this backdrop of spectacular projects and the latest innovative approaches, one of the main topics was the search for balance between development and sustainable construction. Many of the people we talked to expressed hopes and concerns about the geopolitical situation – including the unpredictable policies of Donald Trump and the war still raging in Ukraine.
