The Globalworth Foundation has provided the authorities in Bucharest with office space for a Covid vaccination centre.

The new centre is on the ground floor of the City Offices building and has a total area of 306 sqm, So far, the Globalworth Foundation has contributed around EUR 670,000 towards ten hospitals in Romania and Poland to equip intensive care units.

Now, more than ever, it is vital to stay focused and to assume an active role in minimising the spread of Covid-19 for the safety of our community. Vaccination is the only possibility for resuming normal economic and social conditions, and we know how badly it is needed.

The average total office fit-out costs in Bucharest slightly increased in 2025 to EUR 1,077/sqm, according to data from the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox real estate consultancy company, based on the EMEA Fit-Out Cost Guide 2026. However, Bucharest remains one of the most affordable markets in Central and Eastern Europe, with fit-out costs 18 pct and 15 pct lower than in Warsaw and Prague, respectively.
