Government takes on board PRCH recommendations

POLAND The range of temporary trading restrictions in Polish retail buildings above 2,000 sqm imposed by the Ministry of Health has been clarified after consultations with the Polish Council of Shopping Centres [PRCH] and the Ministry of Development.
The clarified regulations, which came into force on March 21st, are additional to those announced on March 13th and imposed the next day. They do not apply to stores of less than 2,000 sqm or to the sale of food, cosmetics, toiletries and cleaning products, medicinal products (including in pharmacies or pharmaceutical outlets), medical devices, special-purpose foodstuffs, newspapers, construction or DIY goods, pet products and fuel. retail islands and other services are to remain closed, with th
