Build Europe pushes post-coronavirus action plan

EUROPE Build Europe, an umbrella organisation for EU-based residential developers and constructors, has presented its recommendations for helping the sector in the EU emerge from the post-Covid19 economic crisis.
As the organisation points out: “The demand for new housing stock remains at historic highs. But right across Europe, construction has slowed, or stalled, and the delivery of new housing stock has been hampered. Furthermore, the pressure which national and regional administrations are experiencing is threatening to create serious delays in the granting of building permits and exacerbates the problems faced by prospective home buyers. Accolade has secured EUR 24 mln in financing from Bank Pekao to develop its Białystok III park. Białystok III is to be a 34,000 sqm warehouse centre. Including this project, Accolade has a portfolio of over 110,000 sqm with completion scheduled for the first half of 2026.
