Retailers join the fight

POLAND The Polish Trade and Distribution Organisation [POHiD], an association of retail chains, are to contribute PLN 15 mln to fight the coronavirus epidemic.
The PLN 15 mln – which is being donated with the cooperation of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the Ministry of State Property, the Ministry of Health, local government units and charity organisations – will go towards the purchase of Covid-19 diagnostic tests, respirators and specialised medical equipment as well as personal protective equipment for doctors (including masks, white coats, gloves and visors).
