Dutch studio Benthem Crouwel Architects together with Czech architects OVA have won the competition to redesign a quarter of Vítězné náměstí (Victory Square) in Dejvice district (Prague 6).
The new design of the fourth quadrant of the square will complete the plan for the development of the district originally devised by Antonín Engel a century ago. The investor behind the project, a consortium of Penta Real Estate, Kaprain and Sekyra, has already signed a contract with the winning consortium for the preparation of the project. The consortium acquired the plot in Q4 2021 from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (VŠCHT).
