Penta Investment has launched an architectural and urban design competition for a site along the southern bank of the Danube River in Bratislava.
The 8.5 ha site, which it acquired from HB Reavis in the first quarter of the year, is situated between Bratislava’s Old Bridge, the Apollo Bridge and the Harbour Bridge.
The competition is open to all-comers, but three international architectural studios have been invited and will be participating in it.
The main goal of the competition is to bring high-quality architecture to the site, in the form of residential and commercial development, public amenities and space as well as greenery
