Czech developer CTP has been granted a EUR 200 mln loan from the European Investment Bank for the roll-out of its large-scale solar panel installation programme across its European business park portfolio.
The ten-year unsecured loan forms part of the EIB’s contribution to the REPowerEU plan to end Europe’s dependence on fossil-fuel imports.
Since 2020, CTP has ensured that all its industrial and logistics buildings are ‘solar ready’. The company, which is targeting a 15 pct yield on cost return on its solar investment, ended 2022 with 38MWp of installed PV capacity on roof space and is on target to add an additional 100MWp during 2023.
