ROMANIA Outstanding in the Clubhaus

Green projects
Czech developer CTP has obtained the first BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certification – the highest possible level – of its Romanian portfolio for the Clubhaus multifunctional building, part of the CTPark Bucharest West industrial park.

The Clubhaus social, services and events building features an efficient envelope and high-performance equipment to ensure low energy consumption, 20 pct of which is produced by photovoltaic panels on the roof. The interior has abundant natural light as well as thermal and acoustic comfort. The sanitary fittings have been selected to ensure the lowest possible water consumption and include systems to detect and prevent possible water leaks.

Clubhaus is surrounded by an orchard of trees, vines and various species of shrubs and flowers, while the roof of the ground-floor building is also covered with trees, visible from the office area, all of which – along with tree house nests and feeders – provides a habitat for birds and insects.

Clubhaus is an important part of CTPark Bucharest West and has established itself as a game-changer in the industrial park market, by being designed as a platform for educational events, with a multi-purpose amphitheatre where our clients can hold workshops and training sessions, as well as for the services it offers. It has a restaurant and pizzeria, a café, meeting rooms, a medical clinic where our clients and their employees can benefit from free medical services, an outdoor sports area and a minimarket. The BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certification sets a new benchmark for CTP and is all the more important because we are not talking about an office building, but an industrial park.
Ana Dumitrache, the country head of CTP Romania

CTPark Bucharest West, which is situated near the A1 motorway about 25 km west of Bucharest city centre, has a leasable area of more than 770,000 sqm over which 2,000 people are employed. CTP acquired the park in H2 2019.
