Futureal’s Etele Plaza in Budapest has received BREEAM 'Very Good' certification in the retail category.
In line with BREEAM certification, special attention was paid to ensuring easy accessibility, minimising light pollution as well as th direct environmental impact, through the use of durable materials and promoting waste reduction and reuse. The centre also has almost 4,000 sqm of grassed areas with shrubs and trees.
The interiors are almost completely touch-free wherever possible. The HVAC systems of the building include UV sterilising filters that are almost 100 pct efficient in killing virus
