Star Capital Finance (SCF) has been in the news again recently with the EUR 110 mln acquisition in a joint venture of a portfolio of six Polish retail parks. This followed the purchase of the Jantar shopping centre in Słupsk earlier this year and its entry into the Romanian market. Warsaw's office market headed into the second half of 2026 with falling vacancy rates and strong leasing activity. By the end of the first half of the year, the vacancy rate had dropped to 8.5 pct., according to the latest CBRE data.

Wrocław Airport is to construct a terminal to serve passengers travelling outside the Schengen Area. The project. which is being developed in an investment of PLN 15.4 mln, will increase the airport's capacity, improve passenger traffic management, and maintain a high level of comfort until the expansion of the main terminal is completed. Strabag is the contractor for the project, and the work is to be completed by April 30, 2027.

The Polish Senate has passed an amendment to the Act on the Protection of the Rights of Purchasers of Residential Units and Single-Family Homes and to the Developer Guarantee Fund. The new regulations do not change the obligation to publish the prices of homes on investment websites, but introduce a uniform method for submitting this data to the state portal dane.gov.pl.
