The conference opened with a presentation on the main macro-economic factors impacting the market, which was given by Filip Janeccko, a counsel and advocate for real estate at Greenberg Traurig, LPP. One of the main points touched upon was that with interest rates and inflation gradually easing, financing is becoming more available, but on more conservative terms than in previous years, with lenders requiring stronger, longer-term covenants. Vacancy in Poland has also fallen to its lowest level in three years to just below 7 pct as take-up has declined slightly, but the demand still remains strong compared to Western markets. And it was armed with such data that the panel discussions could get underway.
