Italian Studio Fuksas has won an international competition to design a trade fair and exhibition centre to be built in Tirana. The planned development is to be built on a 10,000-square-metre site on New Boulevard, in the centre of the city.
Studio Fuksas' project envisages a mixed-use complex comprising a 40-storey tower with flats (136m high), a 25-storey hotel (95m high), commercial space of over 23,000 sqm and a 12,000 sqm convention and exhibition centre. The Tirana Fik-Park concept will also include the creation of a new city square with underground parking and a public park. The project by Chybik + Kristof studio also qualified for the final. Yareal Polska continues to expand the retail tenant mix for its flagship, mixed-use complex in Warsaw's Praga Południe district. SOHO by Yareal now includes a Maxi Zoo pet store, the Alike Pottery Studio, and the Unroasted coffee store. Under the new agreements, Yareal has leased nearly 500 sqm on the ground floors of the buildings.

Praga to tower up over Warsaw

High-rise developments may be developed near the National Stadium metro station. The city's spatial policy clearly aims to break down the division between the left and right banks of the Vistula.
