In the words of Edyta Wiwatowska, who is both the president of the Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency and the Bydgoszcz Industry and Technology Park: “We are carefully reshaping the image of the city as a modern economic centre with investment potential for growing businesses with a professional pool of labour and business infrastructure as well as strong educational facilities and pro-business investment support from the local authorities while also being a great place to live,” she explains, adding that “we continue to invest in improving the city’s infrastructure and renovating the city centre for both residents and businesses to continuously raise the standards of public services.” She points to business rankings to prove that the city is an excellent place to do business, including first place in the Doing Business in Poland 2015 ranking by the World Bank and a top ten ranking in the Financial Times’ fDi European Cities and Regions of the Fu
