Nathan North, ‘EurobuildCEE’: You are in the process of acquiring a portfolio of retail parks from Trei Real Estate in your first transaction in Poland. Could you tell us something about Slate Asset Management – how the company was established and subsequently expanded – and what fields you’re active in as well as the scale and types of your assets under management?Brady Welch, founding partner and co-chief executive officer, Slate Asset Management: This is our first investment in Poland. We’ve been looking at the Polish market for many years. But we are a selective investor, one that is not driven by an allocation threshold – we are always looking for the best value.
