The Eurobuild Awards, which took place last night, are not all decided by the votes of the jury. Five categories are evaluated by the tenants. Here are their verdicts.
Poland attracts lion's share of investment
POLAND/CEE REGION Of all the countries in the CEE region Poland is attracting the highest foreign investment accounting for 40 pct (excluding Russia) in H1 2016, or EUR 2.07 bln.

HB Reavis sells Twin City A to IAD
SLOVAKIA HB Reavis Group has sold the Twin City A building in Bratislava to Prvý Realitný Fond, which is managed by IAD Investments.
DSV develops with Panattoni
POLAND At the beginning of 2017 DSV is to set up a new branch in Szczecin increasing the number of its locations in Poland to 15. The new centre will be located within Panattoni Park Szczecin next to the Szczecin Dąbie interchange.
Three road contracts for Budimex
POLAND Budimex has signed a number of contracts with the city of Białystok for the construction of three roads worth a combined PLN 367 mln net. Budimex is to build with stages two and three of Trasa Niepodległości along provincial road no. 669.
Forte invests PLN 700 mln in Suwałki SEZ
POLAND Forte is developing a furniture factory with warehousing facilities in the Suwałki Special Economic Zone in an investment of PLN 700 mln.

Hurry up, says former PO finance minister
POLAND “I would advise you to hurry up. Now is the time when interest rates are low and operations can still quite easily be financed,” former Civic Platform minister of finance Jan Vincent-Rostowski told investors during the Annual Commercial Property Market Conference organised by Eurobuild Conferences and Eurobuild CEE in Warsaw.

At the Eurobuild Awards Gala 2016, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Warsaw on December 6th, those present chose the winners in the three categories of the public vote: the Real Estate Personality of the Year, the Outstanding Non-Business Achievement of the Year and the Office Tenant of the Year.

POLAND For the seventh time a jury comprising almost 160 real estate professionals has chosen the companies and buildings that have had the greatest effect on the Polish real estate market in 2016. On December 6th, over 800 people gathered for the gala ceremony held in the DoubleTree by Hilton Warsaw.

Eurobuild Awards 2016: over PLN 40,000 raised for sick children
The guests of the Eurobuild Awards gala, encouraged by Szymon Majewski representing the Iskierka foundation, willingly donated to the charity for sick children and a total of over PLN 40,000 was raised.
