POLAND In 2016 Poland’s total retail floor space was set to increase to 11.26 mln sqm. According to the ‘Poland Retail Market View Q4 2016’ report by CBRE, 17 new projects and 12 extensions, were to deliver around 390,000 sqm to the market, of which more than 280,000 sqm was scheduled for completion in the last quarter of 2016.

EUROPE The EUR 2.4 bln acquisition of warehouse developer P3 by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC from TPG Real Estate and Ivanhoé Cambridge has been completed after the granting of official approval by EU regulators. The deal represents one of the largest European real estate transactions of 2016.
