Tesco in Teresin

Warehouse developer ProLogis, is soon to begin construction on a 40,000 sqm warehouse in Teresin near Warsaw. The structure has been commissioned by British supermarket operator Tesco, who are planning to open their distribution centre there. The work should be complete by the end of this year. The second stage of the project with total space of 30,000 sqm, will be finished by the end of 2005 and within the next five years, Tesco intend to open three other such centres in Poland, which will constitute the company's "strategic distribution network".
