Czech industrial market bucking the economic trend

CZECH REPUBLIC A total of 472,000 sqm of industrial space was leased in the Czech Republic in H1 – an increase of more than 70 pct on H1 2012’s figure of 265,000 sqm, according to a report by Cushman & Wakefield.
In addition, new supply more than tripled to 97,000 sqm in the first half. In Q2 2013, take-up amounted to 277,000 sqm, with 60 pct attributable to new leases and expansions in both of the first two quarters.
