Retail parks in the Czech Republic are rapidly expanding and already account for almost a third of all modern retail space. In 2025, 82,400 sqm of new and expanded retail parks were delivered to the market, and the pace of their expansion is accelerating. Overall, developers plan to deliver 19 retail parks to the market this year, with a total area of nearly 90,000 sqm. This follows from data by Cushman & Wakefield.

7R has laid the cornerstone for a state-of-the-art logistics and technology hub in Kraków. 7R Hub Nowa Huta is set to deliver around 230,000 sqm of modern industrial space. Even before construction work began on ul. Igołomska in Kraków, 7R had secured lease agreements for much of the commercial space in the project.

Leading Austrian padel operator Padeldome has signed a lease to build develop a 16-court sports centre within MLP Business Park Vienna, set to open in June 2026.

Kingstone Real Estate has entered into a partnership with French investment fund and asset manager Iroko. The partners intend to identify properties in Poland that generate stable and long-term investment revenues.

Panattoni has completed the sale of an automated e-grocery distribution centre leased to Auchan in the Warsaw region. The buyer is French investment fund Corum XL, managed by Corum Asset Management. The property was sold for EUR 30.2 mln.

Uni-logistics has leased the entire 8th floor of President's Quay in Gdynia. Uni-logistics will occupy 1,115 sqm in the first phase of the Waterfront mixed-use development, owned and managed by Vastint. Colliers advised the tenant on the transaction.

Daftcode, a tech venture capital company, has leased nearly 800 sqm of office space at Centrum Marszałkowska in Warsaw. The tenant was represented by Newmark Polska.

Ares Management Corporation has completed the acquisition of a modern logistics portfolio in Poland for its Ares Real Estate funds. The financial terms were not disclosed.

DHL Supply Chain and discount retailer Pepco are expanding their long-standing collaboration to further strengthen Pepco’s distribution operations across Europe.

Canteen 5 Senses is to open in the Konstruktorska Business Center office building in Warsaw, which is part of the Golden Star Estate portfolio. Additionally, Contract Meble Biurowe, which operates a showroom in the building, has extended its 350 sqm lease.

In 2027, the first Swissôtel hotel in Poland will open in Gdynia. The project, being developed in partnership with Allenort Group, will be part of the Waterhall complex.

Belgian investment fund AYA Properties Fund has purchased the Sienna Center office building in Warsaw from CA Immo.

According to the latest study by Cushman & Wakefield, Warsaw remains one of the strongest hotel markets in the CEE region. In 2025, the city recorded one of the highest RevPAR increases among CEE-6 cities, while also leading the growth in hotel room supply.

The Atal Group has signed a preliminary agreement to acquire shares in companies from the Budner Group for PLN 133.5 mln. This includes companies that hold real estate. Through this deal, Atal will be able to develop new projects in the Tri-City area, with a usable area of around 70,000 sqm.

Zeitraum has become the operating partner of the first major serviced apartment project in Bratislava under development by Lucron in the city's Nesto district.

BIG Poland has acquired Power Park Kielce. Following the transaction, the park is to become the 12th retail park in the company’s Polish portfolio, bringing the total gla of its assets under management to close to 247,000 sqm.

IAG GBS Poland, the shared services centre of the International Airlines Group, has extended its 2,2000 sqm office lease in the O3 Business Campus complex in Kraków.

Bucharest’s hotel market recorded the strongest performances in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in 2025, with revenue per available room (RevPAR) increasing by 12 pct year-on-year, outperforming the CEE-6 average, according to a market analysis conducted by Cushman & Wakefield.

According to the latest ‘Office Market in Warsaw. Q1 2026’ report by Axi Immo, the Warsaw office market recorded a decline in occupier activity in the first quarter of 2026, while the availability of office space in central locations remained limited, putting upward pressure on rents.

LCP Poland, part of M Core, has opened the M Park Ozorków retail park with over 5,600 sqm gla and ten retail units.
The commercialisation of the BIG Konstantynów centre, developed by Acteeum Group and BIG Poland, is drawing to a close. One of the latest tenants to be announced is Smyk. The 21,000 sqm project is scheduled to open in October.
The Green Caffè Nero chain has joined the ranks of tenants at the Plac Wiślany shopping centre under construction in Warsaw's Siekierki district. The café will enhance the project's lifestyle offerings.
The redevelopment of the Matarnia retail park in Gdańsk has begun. The project includes the renovation of the outdoor passage and the creation of a more welcoming and orderly environment.
Half Price is entering the expanded Sekunda retail park in Jędrzejów, with a 1,500 sqm store in the new section to open in H1 2027. Ochnik and Worldbox will also soon appear.
Eleport has been commissioned to install 114 ultra-fast electric vehicle charging stations at eleven Polish shopping centres owned by NEPI Rockcastle.
A new restaurant tenant has opened in the Fuzja complex in Łódź with a 75-sqm lease. Fuzja Café now operates in the Gardens of Anna, a former factory building.
LCP Poland, part of M Core, has officially opened M Park Bogatynia, comprising over 8,100 sqm gla with 14 tenants. The centre is fully leased.
Work is to begin on OTO Park Zduńska Wola, which is to open in H1 next year with tenants that include HalfPrice, CCC, Rossmann, Martes Sport, House, Cropp, Sinsay, and WorldBox. The development has a final building permit.
A Sekunda retail park is to be built in Bystrzyca Kłodzka, Lower Silesia. Vanstar is to develop a 14,000 sqm centre, and the opening is planned for the second half of 2027.
Retail in Poland is becoming more decentralised according to the latest data from Cushman & Wakefield. All current new projects are retail parks in towns with populations of less than 50,000. In larger cities, expansions dominate.
According to Colliers, at the end of March, the total stock of modern retail space in Poland exceeded 13.9 mln sqm with retall parks remaining dominant in the Polish commercial real estate market.
Grocery operator Biedronka will open a modern supermarket in the upcoming Smart Park in Bielsk Podlaski. The project is being developed by RGL. The first phase will comprise 8,000 sqm, which will eventually be expanded to 13,000 sqm gla.
Home furnishings retailer Jysk is to open in Turawa Park in Opole. The 994 sqm store is to open in August.
Focus Estate Fund has extended its lease agreements with Pepco and Deichmann for space in the Galeria Awangarda shopping centre in Bartoszyce. Pepco occupies around 540 sqm, and Deichmann occupies 450 sqm.
The second stage of the Kasztelania retail park in Chrzanów will open in June. The park first opened in 2020.
Dutch discount chain Action has joined the tenants in the Wiślany Square shopping centre under construction in Warsaw's Siekierki district, with a lease of nearly 900 sqm.
The Osada shopping and service centre in Żyrardów is to open in a number of days. The park developed on a site of around 10 ha and will eventually have nearly 35,000 sqm of leasable space. The opening of the first stage of the project is scheduled for a few days.
LCP Poland, part of M Core has purchased land in Nowa Wola near Warsaw, where it is to launch its fifth retail park development project this year. MPark Nowa Wola is to comprise two buildings with 16 leasable units and a total gla of almost 7,500 sqm.
