CZECH REPUBLIC Almost 300,000 sqm of new industrial space for lease was built in the Czech Republic last year – a 170 pct y-o-y increase, according to Cushman & Wakefield.
By contrast, the consultancy’s figures show that only 108,000 sqm of modern rental space was built in 2012. C&W explains the growth as being mostly due to the strong long-term demand for modern industrial halls and better access to capital for developers.
