A three-storey building is to be built resembling two combined squares with two internal yards. The building, situated at the junction of ul. Techników and ul. Cegielniana, will include 242 mini apartments, most of which will have one room, as well as 20 two-room housing units with the average area of 25 sqm. The project should be completed in Q4 2015. The ground floor will feature restaurants, services and retail. Prices for the apartments will start at PLN 145,000.

According to the 2024 European Purpose-Built Student Accommodation Investment Barometer, conducted by The Class Foundation and Savills, involving investors and operators with portfolios totalling over 132,000 beds across Europe, with an asset value of circa EUR 25.3 bln, respondents expect to increase the number of beds they have by 70 pct over the next 2-5 years. This would bring the total to over 220,000 beds, deploying a further EUR 22 bln of capital.
