Strabag wins A1 highway deal

POLAND Strabag is set to build a 15-km section of the A1 motorway between the towns of Woźniki and Pyrzowice in Poland.

As part of the 118 mln contract, the Austrian company will also provide a motorway maintenance facility, two rest stops, 29 bridges and wildlife crossings. Scheduled to be completed in mid-2018, the project will also embrace the improvement of already existing municipal and district roads.

Panattoni and Accolade have signed a new agreement with Sportano, one of the fastest growing Polish e-commerce platforms in the sports segment. The agreement covers the extension of the tenant's existing lease and an expansion by an additional 14,846 sqm, giving a total of 27,300 sqm at Panattoni Park Zielona Góra II. As a result, the park is now fully commercialised.

Strabag to help build Fehmarn tunnel

Strabag has been appointed by DB InfraGO AG to construct several sections of the Fehmarn Sound Crossing, connecting the island of Fehmarn with the German mainland via a 2.2 km tunnel. The tunnel is to replace the existing Fehmarn Sound Bridge. Road traffic will run on four lanes through two tunnel tubes, while a rail line will be routed on two tracks in separate tubes.
