POLAND Kraków-base architectural studio Kontrapunkt V-Projekt has released images of the modernisation project for Warsaw’s Stegny skating rink.
The project includes the roofing of the existing ice rink as well as technical infrastructure and the development of a new building, which will combine sports, administrative, services and technical functions. Both the ice rink and the new building are to be connected by the same roof. The modernised facility will allow international class sports competitions to be held, such as speed skating, short-track, figure skating, hockey and curling.
