POLAND “In the first three quarters of 2015, Carrefour has consistently implemented its goals in Poland in each of its formats,” claims Ronan Martin, the vice-president of the board at Carrefour Polska responsible for expansion and shopping centres.
Currently, over 750 stores operate in Poland under the Carrefour brand, in such formats as hypermarkets, supermarkets and local shops, as well as 20 shopping centres with a combined 230,000 sqm gla. “Over the last nine months we have completed the modernisation of 13 hypermarkets, almost 50 supermarkets and four shopping centres. Three projects currently being developed by Carrefour deserve particular attention: Galeria Morena in Gdańsk, Metropolitan Outlet in Bydgoszcz and Galeria Zielon
