TXM issues more shares

POLAND TXM is to issue shares which are to be traded on the WSE by the end of the month having published its prospectus, which has been approved by the Financial Supervision Authority.

The shares issued will hold 8.8 pct of the voting rights at a general meeting . The majority shareholder of TXM is currently Redan, which holds 64.1 pct of the capital with 21 Concordia 1 owning the next largest stake of 10.8 pct. The company expects to raise PLN 26 mln from the issue, which is to be used to finance opening stores in the country and foreign expansion plans. “The company’s goal is to be in a leading position in the discount clothing sector in Central and Eastern Europe,” says Lech Przemieniecki, the CEO of TXM.
