Faster through Wrocław

The road will cross both the river Odra and the river Oława allowing motorists travelling north and south to avoid the city centre. For the last four years the project has been blocked due to objections from both residents and ecologists, but now the necessary permits have been granted. The project will involve the construction of 3.5 km of road, two bridges, pavements and cycle paths and a new crossroad. Bids must be submitted by November 23rd this year and the estimated cost comes to PLN 230 mln.
