POLAND The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has announced that it is planning to complete almost 500 km of new motorways and expressways by the end of 2019.
This year the GDDKiA is planning to carry out 37 road projects. The most important road projects of this year include:
a section of the A1 motorway in Silesia connecting Katowice and Częstochowa
a section of the S17 expressway between Lublin and Warsaw
a section of the S6 expressway connecting the S3 near Szczecin with Koszalin
a missing section of the S5 expressway between Poznań and Wrocław
All 37 new road projects with a total length of almost 490 km should be completed by Decemb
