CCC to store 23 mln shoes in Polkowice

POLAND CCC has expanded its distribution centre in the Legnica Special Economic Zone in Polkowice.
The new 22m high building has 18,500 sqm, which increases the storage area of the entire complex to a total 110,000 sqm and increases the centre’s storage capacity from 14 mln to 23 mln pairs of shoes. The extension includes a high storage warehouse, a dispatch and reception centre with sorting and a repacking facilities as well as a social/office section. The building was designed by Łącki Krzywoszański Architekci, while the general contractor was Poznan-based WPIP.
