POLAND Major renovation work has started on pl. Rapackiego in the centre of Toruń.
The first stage of the PLN 72.4 mln project will take until July and involves the redevelopment of ul. Chopina and Wały Sikorskiego.
“The tramlines thoroughly renovated and new sections will be added. The roadways, pavements and cycle paths are also to be redeveloped. A new platform for the tramline will also be built,” reveals Michał Zaleski, the mayor of Toruń.
