More P+R car parks near Warsaw

POLAND More than 350 car parking spaces and more than 240 for bicycles are to be provided in new Park-and-Ride car parks in Warsaw and on the outskirts of the city – in Piaseczno, Wołomin and Radzymin.
The local authorities of these boroughs have secured more than PLN 8.3 mln in EU funds under the Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI) programme for these projects.
“The availability of modern Park-and-Ride car parks in Warsaw’s satellite towns will also clearly benefit the city itself, since providing their residents with the option of leaving their in secure car parks at transport hubs will limit the number of cars entering Warsaw,” explains Warsaw mayor Rafał Trzaskowski.
