Mirbud to build Radom Terminal

POLAND Mirbud has signed a PLN 280.5 mln contract with Poland’s airport authority Przedsiębiorstwo Państwowe Porty Lotnicze (PPL) to design and build a 30,000 sqm terminal at Radom Airport.
The terminal is set to open in the summer of 2022 and the construction work is to take no more than 22 months. The building is to include 30 check-in desks, ten gates, eight control desks and three baggage carousels. The design is to be completed within six month, which will leave eighteen months for the completion of the construction work. The terminal is expected to handle up to 9 mln passengers a year. Currently the 2 km runway in the airport is being extended by a further 500 sqm and the air
