Poland Data centre takes 21,000 sqm for 15 years

Warehouse & industrial
Savills Investment Management has announced the signing of a 15-year lease of 21,000 sqm in Gate One Business Park in Warsaw.

An undisclosed international company is to set up a data processing centre in the Gate Two building.

Gate One Business Park is a logistics and office complex in Warsaw. The project consists of two buildings with a total area of 40,000 sqm of warehouse and office space. The centre is only 5 km from Warsaw Chopin Airport and close to the S8 expressway. Other tenants of the centre managed by Savills Investment Management include Mary Kay, Argus, P4, Rajapack and Johnson Health Tech.

In 2019, we decided to carry out extensive renovations on one of the buildings of the complex to bring it up to modern market standards. The work we have done has resulted in a record-breaking transaction with the centre becoming fully occupied. The agreement signed is for 15 years and is the first lease with such a long term in a city location on the Warsaw warehouse market. It is also one of the first major lease agreements in Poland with a company dealing with data centre services. We are particularly proud that this transaction has such a record breaking size.
Julia Racewicz, senior asset manager at Savills Investment Management

Savills Investment Management was represented by Panattoni Europe, whereas the tenant was advised by CBRE.
