HUNGARY Bayer goes to BudaPart City

Office & mixed-use development
Multinational pharmaceutical company Bayer Hungária has signed a lease agreement for 3,200 sqm – an entire floor – of the BudaPart City office building in Budapest XI.

The company is to move into the building upon its completion in mid-2021. The lease was facilitated by Eston International as the developer’s co-exclusive leasing agent.

BudaPart City will comprise almost 20,000 sqm. The six-storey building has been designed by the György Fazakas architectural studio. The developer of the project is Property Market, while the general contractor is Market Építő.

The construction work is currently ahead of schedule. The three-level underground car park, the ground floor, the mezzanine level and the first two floors have already been completed. The highest point of the building is expected to be reached in mid-autumn, while the developer should be issued with the occupancy permit in June 2021.

BudaPart City also adds a sense of modern metropolitan life to the workplace: its extensive infrastructure and unique green environment await professionals in the district. The office building will also offer a large restaurant and almost 700 sqm of other diverse retail space, complementing the services in the neighbourhood with the addition of a stationery store, a drugstore, a bookshop, a coffee shop, a post office and a showroom. Users of the building will be able to perform their daily tasks more easily and quickly, and recreational opportunities will be available on their very doorstep: they can have a business meeting, a meal or take a run along the Kopaszi Dam on the banks of the Danube.
Mihály Schrancz, the managing director of Property Market

The building forms part of Property Market’s large-scale BudaPart mixed-use development on a 54 ha site close to Kopaszi Dam and Lágymányos Bay. This is being divided up into 26 ha of green area, 11 ha of water and 17 ha of development plots. Three buildings have already been completed and two more residential projects will soon be ready for their first buyers. In 2021, in addition to BudaPart City, the BudaPart Homes
