Czech Republic Eurovia and Strabag awarded D55 construction project

Construction
A consortium of Eurovia CS and Strabag has been awarded a contract to build an 8.4 km section of the D55 motorway from Babice to Staré Město in the Zlín region.

The contract is worth around EUR 105.5 mln (app. CZK 2.85 bln) and the two partners have a 50:50 share in the contract. The work should take no more than 42 months.

When fully completed, the D55 motorway will be the most important transport corridor to connect the Czech business centres of Olomouc, Zlín and Břeclav. We are pleased that we will be contributing our extensive experience in transportation infrastructure to further expand an efficient motorway network in the Czech Republic
