POLAND Zeitgeist in Gdańsk

Residential
Zeitgeist Asset Management has purchased a property at ul. Czyżewskiego 34 in Gdańsk-Oliwa for the development of a project with apartments for rent.

The project includes the creation of 210 flats for medium and long-term rent in four buildings. The apartments will come into use in March 2022.

Zeitgeist likes historic buildings. These projects usually take 2–3 years longer to complete, but the additional time and efforts pay off. These are properties in a very good location, and their unique nature attracts tenants who want to live in buildings with a soul. [This] project allows us to have a say in the planning of the distribution of various functions, such as bathrooms, toilets and the size of rooms in the buildings, which is essential from the point of view of our business. Thanks to this, we can plan our properties for various types of clients.
Peter Noack, the co-founder and managing director of Zeitgeist Asset Management

The project, which has been acquired with the assistance of JLL,, is to be carried out by TriCity-based developer BMC group.

Zeitgeist AM is aiming to have a portfolio in Poland of 350–400 rented units and one student house by the end of next year.
