Poland A2 moves towards Belarus

Eight bids have been received in the open tender to build and design a 19 km stretch of the A2 motorway between the Siedlce Zachód junction and Malinowiec.
This will be the first of four tenders to extend the motorway from Siedlce to Biała Podlaska. The lowest bid was by Strabag for PLN 699.9 mln while the highest was by Polaqua for PLN 702.2 mln. All the bids are below the budgeted PLN 910.5 mln. The bids are to be assessed under the criteria of the guarantee (30 pct weighting), speed (10 pct), and price (60 pct).
