POLAND KappAhl comes to Elbląg

Retail & leisure
Swedish clothing producer KappAhl has leased 646 sqm for the opening of a new store in the northern Polish town of Elbląg. The store is to open in the Ogrody shopping centre, which is owned by CPI Property Group.

KappAhl’s store in Ogrody is scheduled to open in March. The company employs around 4,000 people in 400 locations in ten countries.

Signing a contract with such a popular chain as KappAhl confirms our conviction that despite the rapidly growing popularity of e-commerce, traditional retail will remain the leading sales model for many chains and brands. We are glad that such a recognised brand will be joining the tenant mix of Ogrody - the most modern shopping centre in the Elbląg region.
Milena Wasilewska, the director of retail leasing at CPIPG Polska

Ogrody has a total area of 42,000 sqm and 114 stores and services, anchored by a Carrefour hypermarket. It also has a cinema and a fitness club. The food court was modernised in 2019.
