POLAND South African REIT swoops for Bydgoszcz and Stargard parks

South Africa based Fortress REIT has acquired two logistics parks in Bydgoszcz and Stargard from Griffin Property Finance for an undisclosed sum.
The parks that have changed hands include Waimea Logistic Park Bydgoszcz (48,300 sqm of existing warehouse space with the option of expansion to ​​91,000 sqm gla) and Waimea Logistic Park Stargard (one existing hall of ​​11,500 sqm, which could be expanded to around 80,000 sqm). Although the transaction value has not been disclosed, according to a financial statement by Fortress REIT the two assets are valued at EUR 40 mln with debt of EUR 12.3 mln.
