POLAND Polish Q1 investment holds up – C&W

Investment & finance
The Q1 investment volume in Poland this year came in at 10 pct above the five-year first-quarter average at EUR 1.25 bln, according to Cushman & Wakefield.

This was nonetheless down on the same period of last year by almost a third. Office deals made up 48 pct of the total, while the industrial sector accounted for 34 pct and retail for 15 pct.

In Q1 2021, Cushman & Wakefield was involved in four Polish investment deals for a total of over EUR 280 mln.

In the office sector, Cushman & Wakefield’s team brokered several deals representing various strategies, including a prime transaction in Warsaw's city centre (Villa Offices being part of the Warsaw Brewery complex), a benchmark deal in the largest non-central cluster in Warsaw, that is Mokotów Business District (Neopark), and a core transaction in Tricity, which is a leading regional market (Alchemia IV/Neon).
