Mostostal Warszawa and Acciona Construcción to build Opatów bypass

Construction
A consortium of Mostostal Warszawa and Acciona Construcción has signed a contract for the design and construction of a bypass around Opatów along the S74 expressway and national road.

The contract is worth PLN 403.7 mln gross. The bypass will run to the southwest of the city and will comprise 5.1 km of dual carriageway and a 6.7 km stretch of the S74 expressway. The work will include two junctions: Opatów on the S74 and Opatów I on national road No. 9. The work will also include the construction of sound barriers, flyovers and facilities for cyclists and pedestrians.

Mostostal Warszawa is increasing its involvement in road construction contracts. Currently, we are building several dozen kilometres of expressways. The Opatów bypass is a further project that we will be developing in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. Less than 70 km from Opatów, we are also working on the construction of another bypass for Morawica and Wola Morawicka
Jorge Calabuig Ferre, vice president of the management board of Mostostal Warszawa
