ROMANIA Atenor agrees EUR 50 mln Dacia One sale

Belgian developer Atenor has announced that it has signed an agreement with Paval Holding, the owner of Romanian DIY retail chain Dedeman, for the sale of its Dacia One office development in Bucharest for around EUR 50 mln.

The share deal involves the transfer of the ownership of Atenorʼs Romanian subsidiary Victoriei 174 B.D. Srl, which owns Dacia One. The complex, which is situated at the junction of Bulevardul Dacia and Calea Victoriei in the city centre, comprises a new, 13,500 sqm building and a smaller listed building (1,500 sqm) – a former villa and theatre that has been renovated by the developer.

It is fully pre-leased to such companies as ING Tech, Nöerr and ESS. Atenor is aiming for BREEAM ʻExcellentʼ and Well ʻGoldʼ certifications for the complex.

The transaction is subject to conditions precedent related to the building coming into use and the installation of the tenants,which is scheduled for the end of September.
