POLAND .KTW II ready for occupants

Office & mixed-use development
TDJ Real Estate has obtained an occupancy permit for the .KTW II office tower in Katowice, thus marking the completion of the development of the two-building complex.

Almost 2.5 years from the start of the construction process, the .KTW II office building has obtained an occupancy permit. Preparations are currently underway to start the finishing work on the leasable area of the building. Thus, after six years, the two-building .KTW office complex next to the Spodek arena in Katowice city centre has been completed. It has been developed on the site of the former State Railways Directorate in Katowice (DOKP) headquarters, which was demolished to make way for the complex in 2015. Altogether, the office complex contains around 58,000 sqm of office space and 3,700 sqm of retail and services. Gleeds Polska supervised the investment process.

.KTW II is 133m in height and has 31 above-ground storeys as well as three underground levels with 219 parking spaces. It contains 39,900 sqm of office space and 2,100 sqm of retail and services. BREEAM Interim Design Stage certification at the ‘Excellent’ level has been obtained for the project with a score of 79.7 pct along with a Well Health-Safety Rating.

KTW II, like its older brother, is a synonym of modernity, high quality and attention to every detail at all stages of design and construction. It meets all the requirements for best-in-class office buildings, which places it at the forefront of the most interesting commercial facilities in the country and the CEE region. From the very beginning, we focused on the needs and expectations of future users, which is why we are convinced that the solutions applied will provide our tenants with a sense of comfort and safety conducive to their well-being.
Kamil Krępa, the director of leasing and real estate portfolio management at TDJ Estate

The first tenant of .KTW II, PwC Service Delivery Center, is to move into the building in early 2023 and will occupy nine floors.

.KTW I, the first, 66m building, was completed in H2 2018 and has 14 above-ground storeys along with three underground levels. It comprises 18,250 sqm of offices and 1,560 sqm of retail and services.
