Poland EIB finances construction of S3

Infrastructure
The European Investment Bank has loaned Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego EUR 250 mln for its Krajowy Fundusz Drogowy [National Road Fund] to build the S3 expressway from Świnoujście to Szczecin.
The project is to be administered by the GDDKiA, the national road-building authority in Poland. The road is to be built along the existing National Road nr 3 with a total length of 65 km. The project is also to include a reconfiguration of local road infrastructure, the design of an effective water management system that will meet the challenges posed by climate change, moving utilities, and installing road safety equipment and lighting. The project also includes animal crossings, sound baffles
