Poland Hines teams up with Kajima

Residential
International property investors Hines and Kajima have announced an agreement to jointly develop residential buildings for the institutional rental (PRS) market.

The deal follows the recent opening of Kajima’s office in Warsaw. The deal was brokered by Knight Frank. The final signing of a joint venture contract will take place once financing has been secured for the first project. The two companies are examining development opportunities in Warsaw as well as in Poland’s other major cities. The first projects should be launched in the second half of the year and will include renovations/conversions as well as new developments. The two companies also intend to manage their own portfolios during on their experience from other countries.
