POLAND Żabka brings automated stores to Globalworth offices

Polish grocery chain Żabka has entered into an agreement with Globalworth to open a number of Żabka Nano automated stores in the company's office buildings in 2022. The first two have already opened in buildings B and D of Globalworth’s Quattro Business Park in Kraków.
Żabka Nano stores, which do not have checkouts, have been developed by the group’s Żabka Future Business Incubator. Customers access the shops by swiping their payment cards, they then select their goods, while a camera system records the goods chosen and automatically debits the bill from the customer’s bank account upon leaving. Poland MLP Announces lease in Gorzów Wielkopolski

Poland’s largest independent logistics operator has leased 8,100 sqm of modern warehouse space at the MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski park. The centre was developed on a speculative basis and was fully prepared for immediate occupancy. This is the fourth MLP Group logistics centre leased by the tenant, which now occupies more than 34,000 sqm of MLP space.

Poland Domestic investment grows stronger

In the third quarter of this year, EUR 0.8 bln was invested in Polish commercial real estate, of which over EUR 324 mln came from domestic investors, setting a new record high. Colliers also expects higher investment activity in 2026. Total investment volume in Poland since the beginning of the year totals EUR 2.6 bln, with Polish capital taking a  23 pct share. Taking into account ongoing transactions, Colliers predicts this to increase to EUR 4.5 bln by the end of the year.

Forecasts indicate that by 2030, data centre capacity in Poland could exceed 500 MW, and by 2034, reach as much as 1.2 GW.

Panattoni BTS has officially launched construction work on a factory in Łódź for ZREW Transformatory, part of the R&S Group. The project is being built in an investment of CHF 25 mln (about PLN 115 million). It will double the company’s production capacity and create 200 new jobs. The foundation stone was laid on 21st November.
