ROMANIA Indotek picks up One Victoriei Center

Office & mixed-use development
Hungarian investment manager Indotek Group has acquired the One Victoriei Center office building in Bucharest’s CBD from its developer, One United Properties, for an undisclosed sum.

The purchase of the 12,000 sqm gla building means that Indotek’s portfolio in Romania now totals around 72,000 sqm in three buildings, which include the Băneasa Business Center office building, (also in Bucharest and acquired in Q1) and the 50,000 sqm Promenada Mall in Târgu Mureș (added to its portfolio in H2 2019).

The 14-storey One Victoriei Center, on Strada Gheorghe Polizu near the city’s North Station, was completed in 2006 and was recently refurbished. It counts among its tenants Food Panda, BRD, S&T, Embryo’s Fertility Clinic, Irem Spa and Ownzones Entertainment Technologies.

Indotek is currently present in 13 countries: Hungary, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, Greece, Serbia, Croatia, Poland, Slovakia, Portugal, Slovenia and Cyprus, with a 1.7 mln sqm portfolio of buildable and leasable area, comprising retail and hotel assets as well as around 30 office buildings and 100 industrial assets.
