HUNGARY Wing sells Family Center Szombathely

Hungarian real estate developer and investor Wing has sold Family Center Szombathely to another Budapest-based firm, Unione Investment Group, for an undisclosed sum.

The strip mall, in Szombathely near the Austrian border, was completed in 2005 and acquired by Wing in 2018. It comprises 10,700 sqm gla and has 28 stores, a food court as well as 450 parking spaces.

Following its acquisition by Wing, Family Center saw a significant increase in revenue and value with store occupancy rates approaching 100 pct. It remained open during the pandemic. The anchor tenants are Media Markt, C&A and Hervis.
