POLAND Panattoni sells TEDi Stargard centre for EUR 53 mln

The 87,000 sqm facility is to be used by German non-food discount retailer TEDi, which is also headquartered in Dortmund.

Construction work on the project started early this year.

The transaction that has been finalised for the BTS facility confirms both the appetite for green projects and the huge potential of the West Pomeranian region, as is recognised by investors. Stargard is a key centre in the region, which allows efficient access to Scandinavian markets, as well as many other Western European markets, including Germany and the Netherlands.

The project is situated 34 km from the A6 motorway, which, together with the A11 autobahn, forms part of the Szczecin-Berlin stretch of the E28 international road route. The A6 is also part of the S3 expressway, which runs along Poland’s western border from the seaports of Szczecin-Świnoujście to the Czech border in the south. This forms part of the E65 international corridor, connecting Sweden and southern Europe. Szczecin-Goleniow airport is also located near the facility.
