SLOVAKIA Klingerka offices bought by Erste fund

Office & mixed-use development
J&T Real Estate has sold for an undisclosed sum the Klingerka office building in Bratislava to Erste Realitná Renta, a fund managed by Austrian group Erste’s local subsidiary Asset Management Slovenskej sporiteľne.

The 11-storey, 11,470 sqm office building was completed in 2021 and forms part of the Klingerka residential and office complex on Plátennícka – a former brownfield site near a dockside area. The complex also includes Slovakia’s tallest residential building, which was completed early this year. Major tenants of the office building include SPP–Distribúcia and Wienerberger. It is to be BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certified.

Through our mutual fund and collective investment system, investors from all over Slovakia can share in the returns from this building in the Klingerka project. I am glad that just as the Erste Group is developing its activities in the financial sector in a modern way, the Erste Realitná Renta real estate fund, managed by us, is acquiring real estate in a modern and developing part of Bratislava.
Günther Mandl, the chairman of the board of directors of Asset Management Slovenskej sporiteľne

In Q2 2021, the fund made its first acquisition – also in Bratislava and from the same local developer, JTRE: the Zuckermandel mixed-use complex.
