Germany Garbe leases to car manufacturer

Niedersachsenpark, occupying area of more than 400 hectares, is considered the largest intermunicipal commercial and industrial area in Lower Saxony. It is located between Bremen and Osnabrück on the A1, one of the most important north-south axes in Germany. Well known companies, such as the sporting goods manufacturer Adidas, the logistics service provider Imperial and the specialist for assembly and fastening technology Adolf Würth, have settled there.

Garbe owns approximately 150,000 sqm of the Niedersachsenpark, with three logistics properties with a total area of around 91,000 sqm located there. The largest hall with a total area of 49,000 sqm is leased to the online tyre retailer Delticom. The property leased by the car manufacturer has a total area of 18,500 sqm, including 14,300 sqm of hall space. The third hall with a total leasable area of just over 23,000 sqm has not yet been allocated.

The development of the three logistics properties was carried out according to current sustainability standards. Powerful photovoltaic systems are installed on the roofs to generate renewable energy. Garbe is aiming for all three properties to be certified according to the Gold standard of the German Sustainable Building Council.
